Two months after Lexington and concord a new battle was fought, the battle of bunker hill, which actually happened on another hill next to the actual bunker hill. The colonial militia heavily armed themselves on Breeds hill and defended themselves from a British attack. Though the British took the hill, it was a win of sorts for the Americans as they suffered much less casualties than the British.Added to timeline:
