mar 24, 1999 - NATO Bombings
Description:
The North Atlantic Treaty Organization’s bombing of Yugoslavia was NATO’s military attack on the Republic of Yugoslavia. Coming during the Kosovo War, the bombings were carried out by a series of air strikes for over a month. The bombings were to end President Milosevic’s genocide over members of the Kosovo Liberation Army and Albanian civilians. The two month bombing, however, didn’t end the disputes that continue to this day.
