Description:

The urbanization of African Americans to northern cities after leaving southern cities to receive equal opportunities became a problem for those who had pre civil war mentalities. Whites viewed their migration as competition for opportunities jobs and housing and as many Anglo Saxon, and religious believed they do not have the same rights due to their skin color, riots occurred. These riots were known as race riots and began due to labor conflicts fear that jobs would be sacrificed all on the basis of skin color. African Americans who had been mistreated for centuries we're not going to allow the country to go back in time, however even with social movements places like the South began injuring African Americans once again.
