Description:

Violence broke out against radicals, an event known as the Palmer raids began. The raids arrested groups of anarchists Socialists and labor agitators. The act was taking criminal charge and those that were not citizens or deported. The violent acts was brief and it began abruptly but it also dissipated quite quickly, but it left impacted the views of radicals.

Primary Source: This political cartoon shows anarchists which during this time were grouped in with socialistw and communists, being kept at bay by an American flag, demonstrating the anti anarchist and anti-communist sentiment during this time of prosecution with the Palmer Raids and the Red Scare.
