Trying to make peace after lots of violence, President Wilson traveled to sign the Treaty of Versailles. Wilson stance in the conference was different than other countries as he wanted peace even without a victory while other countries simply wanted to defeat Germany. The Treaty of Versailles’s included three main points. The 1st Germany would lose its colonies in Asia and Africa and admit its loss in the war. The second, it would have to pay for the damage in Great Britain and France. Independence would be granted two surrounding nations, and those who signed the treaty would be part of the international peacekeeping organization also known as the League of Nations. This League would ensure each nation is protected independent and peaceful to other nations.
