Another social issue that was part of the Progressive Era was that a woman's equal rights. Woman suffrage has been fought since the days of the 2nd grade awakening, and the goal now of the National American Woman Suffrage Association became fighting for women through jobs and family relationships. Their fight even led to creating an amendment in the US constitution focused on woman suffrage. The 19th amendment guaranteed women's rights to vote one right that's been guaranteed to men for centuries and will finally make elections equal.
