oct 1, 1760 - The Economy: Transportation(CUL, WXT)

Description:

Transporting goods was difficult to transport on lard due to limited technology at the time therefore the mode of transportation that was used was naval. Trading centers such as Boston and New York went on very popular harbors and navigable rivers. Although it was more difficult, trade with the use of horse became more popular in the 18th century. Taverns provided a place to rest and a place to socialize this later led to a postal system being developed with the use of horses for land use and small ships for the water.
