Description:

Seigneur Augustus Chastaigne, accompanied by his wife Louise and their son Gabriel take up residence in the Chateau des Portes (House of Doors) along with their staff.

Augustus finds a book addressed to him from his father, Michel. The book is filled with codes and cypers attributed to "Solomon". Shortly after, Louise walks out of a door on the 3rd floor to her death and Gabriel is sent away for his education.

Augustus begins accumulating a library and his health deteriorates
