jan 1, 1763 - Pontiac's Rebellion
Description:
Because of constant encroachment by the Colonists onto Native American land, pressure and tension arose. In fact, Chief Pontiac led an alliance of several tribes to attack settlements throughout everywhere from New York and Virginia. To suppress the rebellion, Britain sent their own troops instead of depending on colonial forces. Because of this, Britain had to dump more money into issues sparked by the colonies; not to mention, they were already in great debt from the French and Indian War.
