Description:
The Warsaw Pact’s purpose was to help and improve the Soviet military and political domination of Eastern Europe. Soviet Union, Albania, Poland, Romania, Hungary, East Germany, Czechoslovakia and Bulgaria were members of this pact and this treaty reassured that any members of this pact would come to the aid of other members when they were in need. This pact affected the Cold War because it reassured that these countries would have another line of defense and it would also help to reinforce communism.
