Description:

NATO was formed before the Cold War and was made by the US. The purpose of NATO was to promote peace with several countries coming together against the Soviet Union. The formation of NATO-led to a counter agreement made by the Soviets: The Warsaw Pact. These alliances began to show the sides of the Cold War.

Note: This flag was not implemented until 1951, and it was updated in 1953 to the current flag.
