jan 1, 1971 - Charles Thomas Bolton
Description:
In 1971, Bolton observed a star waiver, quote, "as if it were orbiting around an invisible but massive companion emitting powerful X-rays". This, along with a culmination of others information and theories gave irrefutable evidence that stellar-mass black holes exist.
No one was 100% sure of some of Einstein's theoretical objects, but now that one is confirmed, now astronomers can start observing and searching for more theoretical things, like wormholes or super-massive black holes.
