sep 5, 1774 - First Continental
Congress
Description:
The injustices were seen and the colonies were not going to sit back and watch them being ruled over, which brings the First Continental Congress. Two sides were formed, Radical and Moderates, both wanting change but the way they view they should go for that change were different. During this meeting the Intolerable Acts were also repealed. This meeting was a warning to the British letting them know that if the rights of the colonists were not recognized, there will be a second meeting where actions on how to further proceed would be discussed.
