aug 27, 1928 - Kellogg-Briand Pact

Description:

Also known as the Pact of Paris, was an agreement created when Aristide Briand, foreign minister of France, created a proposal to the US government for a treaty to outlaw war between the two countries. Frank B. Kellogg, the US Secretary of state, gave a proposal to instead create/negotiate a general pact against the war in which 15 nations signed. This pact condemned nations from resolving issues with war.
