This event marked a date in which we seen how bad things got between the British and the Colonies. Guards had fired into a crowd of people killing 5. John Adams got the men off the hook for the murder, but Samuel Adams (his cousin) saw it as an opportunity to get the people to see exactly what is happening and why its wrong what the British were doing,

Hence him creating the Newspaper with the title, "The Bloody King Street Massacre"
