jan 1, 1830 - Indian Removal Act

Description:

President Andrew Jackson signed an order which removed native americans from the east coast and moved them to the west of the Mississippi. This was unfair to the Indians because they moved without their own say, and it showed continuation with Natives being treated unfairly ever since the settlers first arrived. This would continue for the duration of the 19th century.
