Description:

Operation Sea Lion was Hitler’s plan to invade the United Kingdom. In September of 1940, Nazi aircrafts took to the skies and began bombing populated civilian cities like London. For fifty-seven straight nights, the Nazis drop bombs on Britain before stopping. While the city was in ruins, the attack only added flame to the fire for Great Britain and allowed a strong sense of nationalism and desire to stand up against and defeat the Germans after what they did.
