Description:

Beginning in June of 1941, the Nazis begin their invasion of the Soviet Union. Hitler wanted to gain Lebensraum for Germany and was willing to go against the policies to do so. However, the Soviet army was able to push back against and delay the Nazis until winter came. Winters in the Soviet Union are harsh and unforgiving to those not use to it. Hundreds of thousands of Germans would die in the battle, with many of them freezing to death in the cold.
