nov 10, 1963 - Malcolm X's Message to the Grassroots

Description:

A famous speech by Malcolm X that discusses the difference between "house Negroes" and "field Negroes" both during slavery and in the present, a "black revolution" and a "negro revolution", and criticizes nonviolence and the March on Washington. He called for nonwhites to unite against those who benefit from white racism. It is considered as one of the most influential speeches of the Civil Rights Movement, and it is one of the last speeches he gave before he left the Nation of Islam.
