To this day, the Korean Peninsula remains divided between North and South Korea. Until recently, hostilities were still high between the two nations. However, on April 27, 2018, the two governments adopted Prosperity and Unification of the Korean Peninsula. While North Korea still remains a communist nation and South Korea still remains a democracy, the two nations are working towards greater peace. Both sides are hoping for greater relations and communication throughout the peninsula.
