Description:
Following World War 2 and the defeat of the Japanese Empire, the Korean Peninsula was dived along the 38th parallel between the U.S. and Soviet Union. The North, influenced by the Soviet Union, was set up with a communist dictatorship under the leadership of Kim II Sung. The South, influenced by the U.S., enacted a capitalist system with Syngman Rhee established as their leader.
