Description:

Meade (U) v. Lee (S). Lee loses 1/3 of his army and the Union wins. It was a very bloody battle and had so many dead bodies that it was turned into a cemetary. Lincoln gave the Gettysburg Address which said that the war had become about slavery and that these deaths must be for a reason. It was the turning point of the war in favor of the Union.
