jan 1, 1907 - Gentlemen's Agreement

Description:

This agreement was made with Japan and the U.S. to solve growing tensions of Japanese workers in the U.S. essentially banning Japanese workers coming to the U.S. to work. This showed that the nativism sentiment was working as it forced the U.S. to come up with a solution to ease workers.
