Description:
The United States purchased 828,000,000 miles of territory for $15 million. They purchased this from France, which ultimately doubled the size of the country. The Louisiana Territory ran from the Mississippi River in the east all the way to the Rocky Mountains, also from the Gulf of Mexico to the border of Canada.
