jun 23, 1947 - The Taft-Hartley Act
Description:
Also known as the Labor Management Relations Act, the Taft-Hartley Act restricted the activities and power of labor unions (change). It gave employees the option to not join a union; however, joining a union could be a condition of employment (continuity). It also limited the boycotting power of unions, and the heavy fees of initiation.
