The Cuban Missile Crisis took place in October of 1962 in Cuba. United States spy planes spotted Soviet missile pads in Cuba. People then became concerned that a nuclear war would break out. Kennedy and Khrushchev made a deal to end this. Kennedy agreed to never invade Cuba and to dismantle U.S. missiles in turkey. Khrushchev agreed to dismantle missiles in Cuba and allow a United Nation inspection in Cuba.Added to timeline:
