Description:

This was constructed by the Soviet Union backed East Berlin to prevent supplies and people from going to West Berlin. They believed their ideology of communism was better than West Berlin's US-backed democracy. They didn't want people to see the other side of the city and how they lived better and prevented people from switching sides.
