Description:

In the 1944 Election, the Republicans nominated Thomas E. Dewey and the Democrats once again elected Roosevelt. Overall, Roosevelt ended up winning the election, but he changed his Vice President to Harry S. Truman. This change was actually essential, as Roosevelt died in the middle of his term and Truman had to take over nearing the end of World War II.
