Throughout World War II, America had an alliance with China, and during the war, these two countries built relations with each other and improved the status of the Chinese in America. This ultimately led to the repeal of the Chinese Exclusion Act, which led to much better relations between America and China, and decreased discrimination towards the Chinese.
