Description:

When Julius Caesar became dictator some in the Senate worried he would abuse his power so they plotted to assassinate him. His death caused a string of civil wars and led to the downfall of the Roman Republic. It also allowed for his nephew Gaius Octavius Thurnius / Agustus Ceasar to take the throne and become the first Emperor of Rome.
