The fifteenth Amendment was made official, which state that everyone who is an American citizen has the right to vote despite their race or anything, but this was used to trick black people and abolitionists, organizations felt like their jobs as abolitionists were done, but after every one laid their guard down, the government quickly put on IQ test and things on black people to bar them from registering to vote.
