Description:

-This was a treaty established in Warsaw, Poland by the Soviet Union along with other Eastern European countries.

-This was made in response to the North Atlantic Trade Organization (NATO). This treaty would ensure that if a country is attacked, all the other countries in the agreement would provide assistance.

-This committee would be centered around helping each other make informed decisions and only make actions that would benefit each country in this time of war. Although East Germany was originally a part of the Warsaw Pact, them leaving in order to reunite with West Germany along with no political changes happening as a result of the pact caused them to officially disband in 1991.
