sep 1, 1920 - in September 1920, when Ekaterinaslav was evacuated by the Communists, and when Wrangel occupied Berdyansk, Aleksandrovsk, Gulyai-Polye and Sinel'nikovo, a plenipotentiary delegation from the Central Committee of the Communist-Bolshevik Party, headed by the Communist Ivanov, came to Starobel'sk, where the Makhno- vists were camped, to begin negotiations on the subject of combined action against Wrangel.
