Joseph Pulitzer was a journalist for numerous paper in the late 19th century and during this time truly coined the term "yellow journalism" in his writings of the Spanish-American war which dramatized the war and what was occurring during the time such as the desrcibning the land scapes of Cuba saoked in the blood of a million inocents and so on and so forth.
