mar 5, 1770 - Boston Massacre
Description:
As tensions between colonies and the British rose, so did the conflict between colonists and British soldiers. Small fights were common, but in 1770, a large fight broke out and resulted in 5 dead and 6 injured colonists. This created even more anti-colonial sentiment and Paul Revere (a prominent member of the Sons of Liberty) drew a famous picture depicting the scene.
