Short for Quantum Light Propulsion rockets. Finally Q.L.P. drive provides a far more practical interstellar travel method. With this design astronauts can hope to reach nearby stars within their lifetimes without the need for hyper-sleep. Renowned physicist Marcus Ulier stated that Q.L.P. drive will "take humans the fastest they will ever go." at maximum velocity these rockets can take a space ship 87392477 m/s. However calling them rockets would be inaccurate. The way Q.L.P drive works is by firing a high powered Laser at it's destination. once the laser has reached the destination the spaceship is pulled along the light beam. (more details on lore page.)
