Murray book P. 164: It was 12:25AM on June 25th. I cringed then answered. “Yes, what do you want?” He said “Mr. Jackson will finish rehearsals in the next ten minutes and he wanted to know if you'll be at the house when he arrives.” I said to him, “I was not planning to be there tonight, it's already past midnight, this is ridiculous, I'm not a machine, I too need my rest, just like he does his. I didn't come to Los Angeles for this.” I knew he was not witty enough to decipher anything from that statement. Then after thinking of Michael and his tenuous state of affairs, his future hanging by a tread, his fate to being a vagrant with his children living on Skid-Row as professed by Randy Phillips, I fretfully got up from bed to go to work. But as I considered his state of declining wealth, in no time my position was mollified in wanting to help him. Next I jumped into an off-white linen cargo trousers and a white Ed Hardy t-shirt, after brushing my teeth and quickly combing through my short-cropped hair, I was ready to go. I then gently shook Nicole from sleep and in her grogginess I said I had to go, a small embrace and a tiny kiss. Then I walked out the bedroom, through the living room and out the front door.
