Red Shirt is drunk and during questioning by Skip, stating that he had lied “about a thousand times" about the killing of Aird to police and others. He denied his previous story that he stabbed Aird in the stomach under orders from Skyhorse and Mohawk saying he swung the
knife at Aird‘s leg, and “maybe l missed,“

He also stated (according to Skip) that he had been coached on what to say by the prosecution so many times that he could remember exactly what they wanted him to say.
