Description:

The trial of Earl Billy Gibson and Larry Justice, San Quentin prisoners charged with murder and assault in the death of a prison guard, ended on April 18th, with all observers perplexed and confounded. Found guilty on all five charges against them, the two immediately moved for a re-trial. Their two attorneys, Marven Stender and Franklin "Skip" Glenn, were visibly shaken by the unexpected verdicts, having been very optimistic, throughout most of the trial, that the evidence being presented could only be interpreted favorably for the defendants,
