Stanford-bound Skip Glenn of San Bernardino High must surely own the most outstanding group of grades ever compiled by an athlete at Cardinal City. Glenn, who was All-CBL first team both in basketball and baseball, received nothing but straight A's from ninth grade through his senior year except for a B in one course the past semester. In his seventh and eighth grades, he also had all A's, except for one B in art. College scholarship offers came from as far as Tulane, but he has definitely decided on Stanford.
