Defense objects to the seating of a Riveside judge who is presiding over a trial stemming from an Aug. 14 disturbance in Casa Blanca. The defendants, Danny Ahumada and Larry Romero, have filed documents claiming Riverside Superior Court Judge J. William Mortland is prejudiced against them. One of the charges is that Mortland shares a prejudice with the public that has been created by "pro-police and anti-Chicano" publicity, according to a defense document.
