Description:
The ADA is a set of civil rights laws that prohibits discrimination based on disability. According to the ADA, disability is defined as a physical or mental impairment that substantially limits major live activity. With this act, the federal government gained power because it began to regulate much of the Healthcare system and in turn watched out for the interests of disabled American's.
