jan 1, 1774 - Intolerable Acts

Description:

Laws were passed by the British in order to punish the colonist for the Boston Tea Party. One of the largest laws was the Massachusetts Government Act which replaced the local government with British official which gave the British more power. As these acts were to punish the colonist, they made situations worse as the colonist continued to feel as though they had no rights in what was happening in their homes and to them.
