The Syrian Refugee Crisis is the result of the Syrian civil war. The civil war has made it too dangerous for families to live there. The refugees escape by boat, land, or air and often pay all they have to leave. The refugees flee to many surrounding countries including Turkey, Lebanon, Jordan and many other countries. Some countries get so many refugees they have placed restrictions on who is allowed and who is not allowed. An estimated 5.5 million Syrians now live as refugees.Added to timeline:
