jul 7, 1815 - Collapse of French Empire
Description:
At first, as a result of the Napoleonic Wars, France extended its influence throughout Europe, but Napoleon's ambitions cost him dearly. First Russia (1812), and then a coalition of European states that joined it (1813-1815), were able to crush the Corsican dwarf and deprive France of its imperial status.
