Some Hong Kong citizens responded to the "Restore Sheung Shui" campaign in Shek Wu Hui, Sheung Shui, by spraying graffiti on pharmacies, cosmetics stores and other stores of parallel traders. Some demonstrators vandalized Chinese or pro-Chinese businesses in shopping malls in the area and walked into the Sheung Shui MTR station and vandalized the facilities there.
