Legislative Councillor Shiu Ka-chun launched the "Comrade, stay with you for the Lunar New Year meal" campaign, calling on citizens to gather outside the Lai Chi Kok Reception Centre at 8pm, and bring light food to have a Lunar New Year meal with the arrested people. The organizer said there were 8,000 people attended.
