A anti-amendments rally was held at Belcher's Bay Park in the Hong Kong Island. The organizers said 20,000 people attended. Some protesters left during the rally and turned to the Liaison Office of the Central People's government of China in Hong Kong and Causeway Bay, and tried to block the Hong Kong Island entrance and exit of the Cross Habour Tunnel. The police dispersed the protesters in Causeway Bay and fired tear gas several times.
