Description:

Jephthah teaches the Ammonites a history lesson regarding the Ammonites complaint against Israel dispossessing them of their land 300 years prior. (Numbers 21/21-26)
Jephthah teaches them that Israel wanted to peaceably travel through their territory on their way to Canaan, but the Ammonites would not allow it and attacked Israel.
Yahweh, of course, gave Israel the victory and to the victor goes the spoil.

300 years later, the Ammonites were still hurting about their loss and oppress the Israelites (which Yahweh allowed because of their sin Judges 10/6-9).
Jephthah was raised to deliver the Israelites after they cried to Yahweh (10/10).
