nov 7, 1919 - November 7, 1919 - Sgt. John Wilson was dismissed from the service of the Royal North West Mounted Police.

Description:

After being dismissed from his duties as an RCMP officer, Wilson was categorized as a prisoner and given his very own guardroom.
"It was terribly cold. There was no heat in the guardroom. He could not stop coughing, a deep, rattling cough, and his hemorrhoids were deeply painful" (Simmie, pg. 145).
Wilson was given permission to write a written statement, and worked on that while he sat shivering and coughing in the cold, callous and lonely room.
